Oh gee I wonder what it could be...
Fuck's sake why can't this kind of shit happen in Canada...
Obviously an hoax.
Bethesda never beta tests.

I thought that the elder scrolls nine divines were named after the beta testers?
I guess it's fitting with their attitude.
I'd love to get in.

It's time Quake made a comeback.
Damn, if only I lived in Texas
I've done some testing over at id before so hopefully I'll get an email soon. The testing staff over there are great and the experience was certainly pretty exciting.

Go on.
quake remade in the gamebyro engine

As much as I'd love to, I'm under NDA. All they told me I could tell people was that I went in to test a game.
Though since I've also done testing for THQ (before they died) I suppose I could talk about the general formula of what goes on. I was given a playthrough of some unfinished content for about 3 hours where I wrote down suggestions, questions, bugs, etc. and then briefly interviewed about the experience. After all is said and done I got some swag and a game of my choice. I can say that the id playtesting was a LOT nicer than the THQ tests, which felt more like being in a police interrogation room rather than testing games at a game studio. id's testing was way more lax and the playtesting staff was more hands-on and interactive with us (there were around 8 of us total, compared to being alone at THQ).

Well ID is still around.
Didn't id cook up Bethesda's new "Void" engine?
ID makes the best fucking shit. If Beth used one of their engines that would be fucking amazing.
