BallDroppings is an addicting and noisy play-toy. It can also be seen as an emergence game. Alternatively this software can be taken seriously as an audio-visual performance instrument. Balls fall from the top of the screen and bounce off the lines you are drawing with the mouse. The balls make a percussive and melodic sound, whose pitch depends on how fast the ball is moving when it hits the line. This delightful application allows experimentation with sound and vision which will compound and intrigue you. Whether you are an adult or child, scientific brainbox or avid gamer. It doesn't have a plot, no heroine, no villain. It has no guns or alien beings. It is simply time to get creative, and those who are creative will love this.
More or less, this is a little web game thing that allows you to create tunes or, more simply, bounce dropping balls, by creating little lines with your mouse.

The piece is great. My kids love it. Very intuitive interface, so they could get right into it with no problem.

Thought this was something else upon entering
boring flash game
I think i broke it :(
I thought this was about testicles dropping :saddowns:
Interesting game actually. Though I crashed when I accidentally left my computer running..(I trapped the balls in a box..around the spawn point).
Build a box around the spawn, and set the gravity to just above 0. After that, set the gravity as negative as you can.

Fun game. Make songs. Soviet russia.
It's like Sound drop which is an app for the iPhone.

My music ended up annoying as all fucking shit.
It's cool. It does not make music though. Just little dings.
The balls, they speak to me. They say such horrible things
I keep breaking the game while playing with a boxed spawn and gravity.

The game is extremely fragile and any fun will be shot down within a minute or two.
awesome.

nearly broke speakers...
made a very small box around spawn. made grav high and keep spamming ball drop rate.
This crashed fucking chrome, after I made a endless figure 8 loop with very high gravity and extremely high spawn rate, but if you actually try to make music with it, the results are extremely pleasing.

Same here.
It's cool, but it all sounds shitty. I was hoping to make Popeyes theme or something.
Awesome find, thanks OP

First person to make a really decent song, post it
It got boring after a minute.
Mine crashes when a ball hits a line.
Im on chrome. :smith:
Its fun for like 5 minutes, as are most of the chrome experiments.

Exactly the same situation for me too.
This is far more fun.

Creates mindfuck tunes harsh-noise style. Like Merzbow or something.
This is far more fun.

This is what I thought of when I played the game in the OP. I love this one so much.
