So my grandad, being the person he is, has told me that he needs a new laptop, now i happily accept finding one for him, hes 70, so hes not all that great with the internet, then he told me his price, £250. so i was just looking on currys and comet, and but the cheapest I could find was £299, so what im wondering is, is there a laptop for £250 that will be good enough for browsing the web, just basic stuff like that. so is there any good enough pre built for that price, or am I wasting my time.
They have a packard bell netbook in currys for £250. Look for a used one, you won't get a large new one for £250

I don't know if they still do it though, they had two versions, a £200 low-spec one and a £250 3GB ram 160GB HDD one.
You could get this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/193039 £200
You could probably upgrade the ram pretty easily as well, that looks good.
