Cinématon is a french film that was released in November of 2009.
it broke two world records, longest movie and longest production time.
this movie clocks in at a whopping 6 days and 6 hours of running time. i kid you not!
it is a series of 3 minuet and 23 second shorts, which all are silent.
the shorts portray people doing something for the length of time, for example one show a man eating a 100 franc bill while another smokes a cigar.
the only thing longer than its running time is the time it took to make it, 31 years.
this film has been in production since 1978.
the odds of this movie coming to north america are slim, its not exactly the most interesting movie in the world, and it would take a lot of bluray disks to release it as a home vidieo.
if you don't believe me, here's it's page in IMDB

Holy shit, I'd rather play Far Cry 2 / Borderlands / Fallout 3 / Dragon Age : Origins.
Wow, that's quite a long film. Wasn't the last one 'only' a day and a half long? This one seems more like something which would be playing projected on a wall in an art gallery.
You'd need a lot of red bulls to get through it.
Haha what the hell. I would try and watch it if it weren't silent. Although I suppose you could listen to music or something over the top.
210 minutes (Edited version)
210 minutes (Edited version)
It does say
"Total length is now nearing 150 hours screening."
In the text though.
Holy Shit.
The director was clearly compensating for something.
I see the edited version is 210 minutes.
Jesus Christ...it sounds like one of Andy Warhols' films..
