That's right, folks! RTHDRIBL is an application which is so awesome, it needed to have its awesomeness reduced by giving it a retarded name! The name is an acronym for Real-Time High Dynamic Range Image-Based Lighting, which is what the app basically is: play around with Real-Time High Dynamic Range Image-Based Lighting! You can watch various 3d models from all directions, change their material, change the light environment and all sorts of eye-pleasing graphical options! Oooo, that looks sweet. I will download it.
I thought this was some kind of spam-thread, but this is fucking awesome!
Also makes a good gpu stress test for overclocking.
I remember this from 2006 or something, we were all stunned at how good everything looked.
looks niceeeeee downloading it right now
Here's another mirror for rthdribl_2_0.zip Servers located in france. Also good bit of kit to play with. Pretty
I thought this was a troll thread
Cool and really, really old. Why is this in PC Building though?
Cool and really, really old. Why is this in PC Building though?
It's not.
It's not.
It was.
It was.
Nope. [editline]10:31PM[/editline] Check my event log, no move event.
I love the lens flares in this. Only now have proper lens flares like that started to appear in games. That is, game, since I've only seen it in Shattered Horizon.
Downloaded this years ago. I don't recall it being that GPU-intensive since I could run it just fine on my old Geforce 6800. Those TF2 models look really sweet.
I was expecting a ban me.
:gizz:
How do we convert to .x format? I'd like to try come stuff.
I really like this demo. After all these years it still looks great and has effects which most games still either don't have or are poorly implemented. The DoF is nearly perfect, and the lensflares are the best i've ever seen, although i don't really like them in general. I also love how its antialiasing not only takes samples from different points in space, but also different points in time. Try changing the multisampling settings and look at how the quality of the motion blur changes with it if you don't believe me.
If this was created in 2003, imagine the possibilities today... :q:
Looks interesting Ill download it and try it
