• Fucking internet, how does it work

For the past few days or so, I have been having this really odd problem. Its with one specific website, and only happens in a very specific way. I've been trying to get on the Android Forums for awhile on my laptop, but it never works. I just get a "could not be found error". It does it to anything connected to my wifi, so my laptop, Dell, iPod Touch, and Droid Eris. None of them can get to it via Wifi. Wired doesn't work either. This is the only website affected strangely enough. But this is when it gets really strange. If I tether my laptop to my phone, the site loads up perfectly fine on the laptop. And the phone is connected via wifi, so its basically acting as a wireless adapter. Even more strange, the phone itself can't access the site. So apparently, it can't find the website, but it can still send the pages to my laptop. Makes logical sense. The phone can get to it via 3G if I disable wifi on it, so I'm assuming its something wrong with my internet connection. Any networking guru's out there that can explain this one?
Have you tried changing the DNS server on your router to something like Open DNS or 4.2.2.1 and then flushing the DNS cache on your laptop?
Are you sure it's just not the websime that is down for some weekly maintenance ? Also ; http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
