Hey guys, I kind of need your help on a few points.
With the new, great looking games that are coming up in 2011, I'm considering upgrading my PC. Along with this, I have a few questions.
I'm thinking about getting the Gainward Gtx 580 Phantom.
This is the one:

It's overclocked by the manufacturer to, for instance, have 3 GB DDR5 VRAM. I'm questioning whether or not my Corsair TX 750W can handle it though. I know I can handle the stock Gtx 580 without a problem, but the fact that it's overclocked somewhat worries me. Thoughts?
Also, while we're at the graphics card, is it worth upgrading from Gainward Gtx 295 to this one? My goal is to be as close to maxing out games like BF3 as possible.
Also, when getting my new graphics card, I'll be getting a new monitor. Currently I have some shitty Fujitsu Siemens monitor from ages ago, and it's time to get a new one. I was thinking about getting the BenQ XL2410T. I'm intrigued by the high hertz, and the low response time, but I'm not planning on using the 3D, so I'm feeling like I'm a lot for something I won't use at all. Could any of you suggest a good-to-great gaming monitor? Thanks!

It'd be a good upgrade, you'd likely see at least a 100% performance increase. And I think your power supply will be fine. Gtx 580 uses about 450, so the overclocked shouldn't be too much more that that.

I thought 450 watts was a the max for 2 8 pins and the PCI-E bus and i thought only the 6990 drew that amount of power, but I could be wrong. also you could get Regular 580 and overclock it and save some but thats up to you.

Thats full system. And yes your powersupply should be fine like Quilkkill Unless you get 2. Idk what the 295 draws idk if you would have the power to run that as a physx slave.
Alright, thanks. Can you guys recommend a decent screen? That BenQ I picked looks quite sweet, but seeing as I won't use the 3D it as, I think I'll be spending a lt on something I won't use.

I hear dell IPS screens are nice but i'm not too great with monitors. hell I use a 19" TV as a monitor.
just go for the regular GTX 580 - you can do the overclock yourself, and you won't use the 3GB VRAM
unless you can get it for a cheap price, but at its current price not worth it at all
3GB is only useful for surround gaming
