Some retard asked Siri where to hide his roommates corpse.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — A screen shot found on a phone belonging to Pedro Bravo took center stage at his trial Tuesday. He's accused of killing University of Florida student Christian Aguilar in 2012.
The screen shot showed a conversation with Siri. The screen shot had the words, "I need to hide my roommate."
According to the screen shot presented in court, the responses to the Siri search showed responses such as, "What kind of place are you looking for? Swamps. reservoirs. metal foundries. dumps."
To clarify a report from CBS Gainesville reporter Hailey Holloway, who reported Detective Goeckel testified the conversation happened on Bravo's phone, it has not been shown whether the conversation took place on that phone. Goeckel only presented the screen shot which became the focus of questions from the assistant state attorney.
Transcript from trial:
“You indicated the State’s H-I [Siri Screenshot] came from the camera roll or the saved images folder you could say of this iPhone. Is that fair?
Goeckel: “It comes out as images, it’s in the Facebook cache is what it’s in.”
“And so, because it’s coming from somewhere off the internet, or something like that, Facebook is a social networking site accessed by the internet, is that fair to say?”
Goeckel: “Yes.”
“Might that explain why this screen capture indicates an AT&T provider as opposed to Verizon which is the carrier of the defendant’s cell phone?”
Goeckel: “Correct”
“Might that explain – or let me ask you this – do you know what this screen capture is of? What we would call this?”
Goeckel: “This would be from a Siri.”
“Okay, was Siri as a program, was she available on the iPhone 4?”
Goeckel: “No.”
“Okay, how could a Siri image appear on an iPhone 4?”
Goeckel: “In this case it was cached on Facebook, it was viewed on Facebook with the phone.”
I'm reminded of Dennis Rader. Serial killer who asked the police if they could trace him if he sent them a disk.
It went down just as you think.
Why would siri even have a response for that?

But the article states Detective Goeckel was wrong. Title should be "Some retard Detective possibly fucked up a murder case"

Uh doesn't the fact that he doesn't have Siri on his phone and the fact that the screenshot of the Siri conversation has a different carrier ID at the top of the phone AND that the image was in Facebook's cache indicate that he didn't actually ask that question to Siri? Instead, it indicates he just viewed the screenshot on Facebook
Additionally his phone location doesn't match what the Detective is saying, according to this source
-now i am confused-

No, the source says the Phone doesn't match where suspect said he was.

I think maybe you just skimmed over the article :~)
There should be some special kind of a ban for OP who fails to read the article they are posting themselves.

Well, those places do seem about right for hiding a body.
Well, those places do seem about right for hiding a body.
there are much better ways to dispose of a body.
No idea why would ask siri, it's just common sense to know how to correctly dispose of a body.
Public places will always have cameras, the best one out of those would be a swamp, but then you have logistic problems and it would have to be the right kind of swamp that doesn't have any kind of boats going through it.
Ideally you'd want a thick remote muddy bog in the next town over.
but even then you'd have to chop the body up quite a lot, saw off all fingers and burn them to ash
Remove all the teeth and destroy the jaw, burn all the hair on the head and remove the eyes. remove any tattoos and then finally cut all the body up into chunks, place in cardboard boxes with worms/maggots and stuff and then just dump it all. and for the cherry on top, space the dumping out in large sections of about a mile radius.
Then you'd have to have an alibi for it all like an out of town conference, the equipment would need to be paid with a mix of cash and plastic to prove you where out of town
it just all seems like a hassle to me.

Maybe she was just humoring him to avoid being his next victim

you scare me
After seeing a few glimpses of the murder mysteries my mom watches, you learn don't do what these retards did to their victims
It's not very hard

Hey, you never know when you might need to get rid of someone.
like terry from work, god I hate him.
But anyway, that way wouldn't work here because muddy bogs are very few over here in the UK.
that's why you need to learn a few ways to dispose of [del]Terry[/del]Someone in different countries and climates
I fear for Terry's life right now

What's wrong with just stuffing the body into a box and dumping it in the middle of a really deep and really cold lake? Sounds like much less effort and not exactly easy to find unless somebody goes scuba diving.

This is the type of double-bladed information people need. Like knowing how to tie a noose. It makes a great climbing instrument or a tool to extract mob justice.

This is insane.
Everyone knows that it takes extremely high temperatures to properly incinerate appendages. Too impractical.
The best way to dispose of a body is to just leave it there. News stories pop up all the time about how people are found dead after years of being missing because nobody ever thought to check their house or their car.

Depends on what the lake is like, and what animals live in it, and if you want to dispose of the body or just have it away from you.
If the current torn the bags and the body floated to the top, then it would be easily found by anyone walking past.
You are trying to get away clean, and not be caught you'd want to have a maximum chance right?

You're not trying to fully burn it away, lust the skin and fingerprints, because then it's easy pickings for birds and other carrion feeding animals
Pishaw, everyone knows from movies/TV series that buying various acids and mixing them in a bath is the correct way of getting rid of a body, then all you gotta do is bury the bones. :v:

You have it easy, dump the body in the moors. Even Sherlock Holmes can't find it in there. Haha, I just thought you could ask Siri for places and if she says "Swamps, reservoirs, etc" you can reply "Siri, is there any more?"
Or you can just eat it.
