• Anyone go to the Stone Sour gig at the Birmingham NIA last night?

Fuck it was awesome. Hellyeah were the support and were alright and Avenged Sevenfold were joint headlining, they seemed pretty good but I like their old shit best and they only played 2 songs that I actually recognised. Stone Sour were amazing live, really did sound the shit
one of my college mates seen them on tuesday in glasgow he said that avenged sevenfold where absoulte crap live
Yeah they did make fairly extensive use of backing tracks especially for the singing parts that would have killed the guys voice (too high for him)
Are you sure you don't mean the vocals done by the Rev? It was an awesome show though.

Didn't realise it was the drummer who did the high parts.
