While at first sight this might seem as a great and progressive thing, I find it to decline the amount of authorative respect that's supposed to be set for a King. If people can just walk up to him and say 'Hey Willem wassup' then while that seems 'cool' in the long run I think it's not beneficiary for his position.

It's not like the king/queen really fullfils more than a ceremonial role in the Netherlands anymore either way, I don't really see them problem.
