For some reason, I don't see my dream of owning a monkey like Little Gray from MGS4 will come true here on FP
i just went to disney world in florida not too long ago, first visit. lots of walking eh?
been to disney world in orlando quite a few times myself i offer my expertise and guidance to this humble thread
I've been to Disneyland (America) twice and Disneyworld once. It's great when you're young enough to still have the imagination but old enough to ride the rides, and it was a blast when I went to Disneyland the second time, as I was 10. Disneyworld was horrible. It was literally walking for hours and standing in line for hours to ride <1 minute rollercoasters in the humid Florida heat. We did happen to go during Spring Break, which probably wasn't the smartest idea.

The difference is staggering, the lines decrease about fivefold. And always take advantage of fastpass.
I went to Disney World for the first time 2 summers ago (14). I think it would have been funner if I was younger, but I still had a good time. To be honest if everyone in your group is older then 12 I would go to Universal instead. It's pretty close and the lines can be just as bad but the rides are a lot more entertaining for older people.
I've been to Disneyland three times. The two times with my family have been dead in the middle of the week in February. It takes longer to go through the maze of chains where the line's supposed to be than to wait in line at all - i.e. we pretty much went straight into everything. Last trip was a school trip a month back and it was pretty much the same deal. AVOID WEEKENDS COMPLETELY THOUGH. (THAT INCLUDES FRIDAY.) Disneyland really needs to redo a lot of its rides - the turns are so erratic and aggressive. It hurt to ride the Matterhorn. California is so much better in this regard. I still like Disney for the classic family-oriented feeling, though. (I nostalgia'd non-stop on my last trip and I wanted my family there) If I ever get rich and famous I wanna go to the secret New Orleans club.
iirc Disneyland redid Space Mountain and made it much smoother right? Unfortunately overhauls like that take a while and people get pissed when a big ride is closed during their trip.
Disneyland was closed when I went on my trip three weeks ago. I'm glad they're re-doing it - it was my favorite ride when I was a kid. I'm watching this video of this guy roaming through Club 33 and I guess you're able to ease in without being a member - you just have to wait forever outside and keep trying.
Nah the refurbishment I'm talking about was years ago. I think three weeks ago OSHA closed a bunch of rides for safety violations for workers Oh and on the subject of lines, Disney's getting much better with this. They're putting in interactive queues in a lot of classics and making them pretty standard for new ones. Also they tried a new system with Dumbo: you get a buzzer like a restaurant and get to sit in an air conditioned room that has a huge playground for kids
It's all about strategic fast pass placing
The original disneyland is the shit. Get a parkhopper for there/California Adventure and your set. My brother has around $1000 worth of those damn pins.
Quote of the day: "Can I take the monorail to Universal?"
About time Zach.

Why was Test Track ruined?
Why was Test Track ruined?
Cause it's Future World so it has to be ~ futuristic ~
I only have a Universal Pass :( i wanted to get a Disney pass for Christmas because me and a bunch of friends were all planning on getting passes and going all the time but then a few people backed out and the only friends who were still planning on going with are friends that I'm not all that close to so it'd be weird, I also (at the time, not anymore) was dating someone whose parents could get me into Disney because they worked there but I wanted to get my own pass so we could've also had a double date there or some dumb romantic shit (lol to bad we broke up after like a week) (also Disney World btw, i'm a Floridian :v:)
Disney is the shit, yo. It's good fun for the family. I love how the rides are themed, it makes you feel like your on an adventure. This is one of my more recent lanyards, I have more but don't know where they are, around here somewhere,[sp]yes those are Club Penguin pins, too.[/sp] [t]http://24.media.tumblr.com/a3842f621d79a35776fb03943280dfc5/tumblr_mmmcaeswO41qli04oo1_1280.jpg[/t]
While working in Disney World I got addicted to vinylmations. Help me guys, the pins were bad enough but the vinylmation have grown into a habit Cast member 2012, College Program, Walt Disney World, Quick Service Food and Beverage, Downtown Disney, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island
Added! Not a fan of vinylmations myself, especially pins of vinylmations. merchandise based on merchandise, egh.
vinylmations are too damn expensive
Shanghai Disney will be Disneyland in Shanghai and will be home to Shanghai Disneyland which is Disneyland in Shanghai.
What.
Disneysea at Tokyo Disneyland resort is awesome. The centerpiece is a giant volcano and you can actually drink alcohol in the park. Went there in November, also went to Tokyo Disneyland which is almost the same thin as magic kingdom except half of the park is in Japanese.
Disney World sucks I'd have more fun picking shards of glass out of my ass than to go there again.
Disney World sucks I'd have more fun picking shards of glass out of my ass than to go there again.
Why?
Why?
It's not as good as everyone says it is and it's just a big let down.
you really need to plan your trips to get the most out of them. The only complaints I ever get stem from the guest's poor planning and research. On that note, yeah, if you like to just go with the flow unfortunately Disney parks aren't great for that. It's an area that could use some attention.
