Hey guys, I would like to know your opinion on these 2 builds that I'm about to show you and you guys choose which one is better! Also, feel free to change parts if they aren't compatible together or they're just bad. Here we go, [release]1st build CPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072 RAM: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277 Motherboard: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157229 GPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127510 HDD: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136795 Optical Drive: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204 PSU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139004 Case: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119068 Monitor: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236052[/release] [release]2nd build CPU: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6524800&sku=I69-0760 RAM: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4837613&sku=C13-8218 Motherboard: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5633634&sku=E145-2078 GPU: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7301646&sku=Z700-0466 HDD: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=61375&sku=TSD-750AS7 Optical Drive: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6613479&sku=L49-1055%20OEM PSU: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6792855&sku=C13-2702 Case: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7097608&sku=A107-3019 Monitor: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6050945&sku=B145-V2210%20CA[/release] Please don't mind if these builds seems horrible, just feel free to change if you want to! Thanks.
First build, with changes. Get the G43 instead of the Extreme4. Same PCI-E speed for dual-cards but you lose right angle sata. HAF 912 over the Centurion. EA750w Spinpoint F3 5 bucks more. 6950 1GB LiteON DVD Burner $1 cheaper, free shipping. If I added right, these changes are only ~$50 more than what you originally had and you get better performance
Don't go with the second build, first build is much better Armotekma has more or less the right idea. The F3 Spinpoint offers similar performance and double the storage for the same price You picked a pretty good PSU but if you go with a 6950 make sure you have at least 650w And the mobo is way too high end for your budget. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] And I have a similar monitor as the one in the first build, it's great [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] You could also go with a 560 Ti (similar price/performance to a 6950) or a 6870/6850 if you want to save some money there
Thanks for the suggestion Armotekma!
First build is Sandybridge. So yes, first build.
