Here's my info:
iPod touch 4th generation, newest iOS. 32GB
I use a wireless router, linksys, don't remember model number but I don't think the problem is in the router.
It takes at least 30 seconds to load about 6 seconds of video.
I've tried clearing safari's cache, history, and cookies.
I'm using only about have of my max space.
I tried restoring network settings to factory default, to no avail.
And finally, I'm only a room away from the router and I get 2-3 bars usually.
Is this a common thing? Do I need to erase something? Some help would be great.
Have you tried using the dedicated YouTube app?

If you mean the YouTube app that comes by default, thats what i'm using the entire time.
Try going on the YouTube mobile website and turn off HQ on the video you want to watch.
