Well looks like they already sold out but here they are

Selling for 390 bucks
Thats pretty amazing, especially considering the catleap I bought months ago is now 820 instead of 400.
*drool* If I could afford it I would have two of these.
Interesting. Can't wait to see some reviews on these suckers.
hnng too bad it's 16:9.

At 2560x1440 I've found that aspect ratio isn't as big of a deal as people make it. If the resolution is lower than 1920x1200 then its more of an issue. I have two of the Yamakasi models since April and they've been great so far, monster screen space and it was hard to see and difference in quality between these and a 27" Apple display.

Exactly, those extra 160 lines aren't as needed. There are 30in catleap 2560x1600 if people really wanted 16:10.
Hey, is the only input a dual link DVI port?
I'm probably getting a laptop with a Display port 1.1, HDMI 1.4a, and a single link DVI.
Are there options for me?

You could get a display port > dvi adapter.
You could get a display port > dvi adapter.
From what I can tell, they're all active adapters that cost +$100
EDIT: And/or don't support 2560x1440
Well then HDMI 1.4a to dvi?
Well then HDMI 1.4a to dvi?
From what I can tell, it can't handle the data.

This will only work if the monitor doesn't give too much of a shit about the signal it receives, and the laptop can create custom resolutions (nvidia optimus or just plain intel gpu can do this), and you don't mind sacrificing a few hz refresh rate in the worst case scenario
(Not theorizing here, I can quite happily push up to around 108hz 1080p down HDMI, but I think my monitor is more forgiving than most and I'm also using a short cable with an unnecessarily huge AWG)
Almost nothing labelled with a high HDMI version number supports the higher resolutions in the spec, you will have to stick within a 250mhz (200mhz for reliable audio) pixel clock
The $460 I paid for my 120hz Overlord isn't too bad.
