I need to locate one of these things to connect my Xbox to a wireless network.
I've searched google but have come up with nothing helpful.
You need the SSID of your wireless network which can be found on your router's configuration page.
If it's a secured network you'll also need the WEP/WPA/WPA2 key.
How do you find the WPA2 key?

If it's not available in the router's config page you'll have to get it from whoever set up the router, or change it in the router and every computer that connects to it.
Backtrack 3/4.

Or do this, you may also be able to reset your router including the password (to the config) via a button on the bottom.
Or you could probably get it from a computer that connects to the network.
Edit: broke automerge

I posted a program that can do that in this thread -

Well it depends on the computer. If it's running Windows 7 you can just go into the wireless configuration screen (type manage wireless networks into the start menu):

If it's running XP or is using a 3rd party wireless config tool then you'll have to figure it out yourself, but it should be similar.
