• iTunes questions - Genres, Synching and Gapless playback

So I have a bunch of questions about iTunes, so I may as well put them all in one thread. I'm using the latest version of iTunes. So here we go: 1) Can I tag an album as multiple genres? I have some music with crazy specific genres, so I want to know if I can tag an album so it will show up in more than one genre in my iPod (so if I tag an album as "Rock/Live" say, it will show up in both the "Rock" and the "Live" genre on my iPod. 2) Why does my iPod have to restore and resync almost every time I connect it? If I don't plug my iPod in for a few days (iPod classic, latest model), when I come to sync some more stuff to it, my computer won't detect the iPod, and will tell me I should restore it to factory settings and resync all my music. Is there a way around this? 3) Is there a way to make an album gapless automatically? I borrowed a live album off a friend, which for some reason has a few seconds of silence at the end of each track. Obviously this interrupts the flow of the album, so is there a way I can automatically remove these gaps to make the album flow? And I don't mean with crossfading or whatever, because that won't get rid of the silence. Any help is appreciated.
i can help with 1. and 3. 1.I don't know about this, but you could try adding a comma in between. 3.Here's two solutions: 3-1.CTRL-Click/Right Click the song and select 'Get Info'. You can then edit the start and stop points and remove the gap. 3-2.Open up garageband, import all the songs, and them split up the gaps. You can do this for each song, or make them into one giant song. Hope that helped.
1.) Use commas. 2.) Could be an issue with your computer or the iPod. My motherboard refused to detect it until a bios update. 3.) Apart from making the album one giant song, you're just going to have to deal with it.
3.) Select multiple songs, right click, get info, click options tab at the top, check the gapless box and choose yes on the dropdown.

[editline]11th January 2011[/editline] Also the genre thing didn't work. It would just keep appearing as a separate genre
