Desktop display with HD capacity, time, weather, etc
4 replies, posted
I see screenshots of people's desktops all the time that have functional displays in them that show hard drive capacity, time, local weather, CPU and GPU temperature, etc. I think it would be neat to have, so can somebody point out or explain how these people do it?
Most people use rainmeter.

It has a bunch of skins for stuff like that.
Awesome, exactly what I was looking for. Time, weather, RSS feeds, system info, everything. I don't know how I went so long without it.
You mean Gagdets?
There's custom gadgets that show weather and CPU/GPU temperature too.
Use Rainmeter.
This is my setup;
