• Billionaire Charles Koch: Voting Clinton or Trump like choosing ‘cancer or heart attack’
Republican mega-donor Charles Koch says that in a choice between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, there are no good options. “If I had to vote for cancer or heart attack, why would I vote for either?” Koch told Fortune on Monday. Pressed to make a choice between the two presumptive presidential nominees, Koch asked, “Why do I have to? Are you going to put a gun to my head?
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/287410-charles-koch-voting-clinton-or-trump-like-choosing-cancer
To be fair though, the Koch brothers are cancer themselves too.
Sounds like he is just mad he couldn't buy out either of them.

As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
No, that's too easy
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
There's enough people who are die hard supporting both of them that even if everyone who hated both didnt vote one would win, one would ahve to win anyways. Any form of tie would result in congress decideing. But they are the two Main Party canidates so one of them will be president regardless if everyone said fuck it or not.
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
Technically, yeah, but there are still plenty of people who genuinely support the two. It isn't like everyone hates them.
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
Our voting system only supports two parties, all left / liberal views are condensed into one party, and all right / conservative views are condensed into the other. If one party gets more popular, the other will get less popular. Both cannot exist at once because that will split the vote and give the win to their opponent, so voters will pile onto one or the other. If no single candidate reaches the minimum number of votes to become President, 538, then the House of Representatives will elect the president from a pool of the existing candidates.
Pot calling the kettle black
Pot calling the kettle black
More like the Pot calling Pots Pots.
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
Yes we can. But that probably won't happen
As a Norwegian Citizen, I'm wondering why do the choices have to be only Hillary or trump? Can't just the whole of America do a collective decision to not vote for either?
Technically the choices aren't just Hillary or Trump, but people are discouraged from voting for other people because it makes more of a difference for the two big candidates than it does for the person they'd be voting for. And like someone else said, if there's no decisive result the decision goes to congress.
ironically this is the best compliment koch could've given for either candidate.
To be fair though, the Koch brothers are cancer themselves too.
I know, right? Kind of ironic for a cantankerous old tumour like Koch to compare Clinton and Trump to cancer and a heart attack. Even if he's kind of right for once.
It's a terrible case of an actually horrible/psychopathic person who only cares about money actually calling out politicans who are also awful. It's weird, really.

If you are an economic conservative, but socially liberal, you don't have much choice. Either way, many key issues to you will be poorly represented by whichever party gets in.
"Why do I have to? Are you going to put a gun to my head?" lmao what kind of answer is this? why get so defensive?
Sounds like he is just mad he couldn't buy out either of them.
johnson is perfect for him then, he doesn't even have to buy him out
Clinton is Cancer Trump is a heart attack The Koch Brothers are Ebola.
Say what you want about the Koch bros but in this case he is absolutely right. God fucking damnit can it be next election already? I'm tired of seeing Trump and Hillary everywhere.
