I've been having problems for the last few days, windows is running slow and "explorer" keeps crashing, my desktop not responding and my bottom taskbar doesnt respond so i have to restart explorer so i can get it back to normal. I was just wondering if there is anything wrong with my computer, i'd probably just whipe my computer and start over because i was planning on doing it anyways, but if not i'll leave it be. Edit : and another thing, it takes forever for my computer to shutdown, i've read that it just takes a long time because of all the background applications running and how windows takes the time to ask each and everyone of them if they want to close, tell me if i'm wrong on this one.
I know this is in the wrong subforum, but who cares. I need some specifications, man. Windows XP? Vista? Ram?
next time explorer crashes, please post the "technical information" here. Well, whatever the faulting module is anyways.

It's just has happened these last fews days, its mostly my desktop not responding, and doesn't repspond until i obviously turn off my computer.
What is it, a laptop? Desktop? Please tell. Also, run http://www.piriform.com/ CCleaner and see if it gets any faster. Be sure to use Analyze first.
It's a desktop.
CCleaner?
Haven't tried it yet, will report back in the morning.
