Strange glitch/lag noise during audio playback at random times
2 replies, posted
I recently bought a new laptop, an Asus NVM56-AB71, and despite the typical battery of updates one does with a new pc one issue has persisted- the titular noise during audio playback. I don't know how to describe the noise exactly, it kind of sounds like the song got garbled and then spit out... Sort of like digital static or some such. When it happens it is hard to interact with the pc due to lag, luckily they quickly pass- also worth noting is there is no spike in usage according the the resource monitor.
Picture of specs/temps if they'll help:

Try reinstalling your Realtek driver. Make sure you download the correct version for your OS. Standard stuff I know, and I'm not undermining your intelligence but just so you know it's worth checking :)
Thanks, that did it, I must have overlooked that. :v:
