• Good ol' Windows XP Paint for Win7?

As the title says. Is there a paint version like the WinXP for Win7? As the new paint in Windows 7 doesn't have all the tools I need like the old had.
I'm pretty sure it does? I don't think there really is an XP version on the internet. About two years ago I looked to see if it was possible, but I didn't find a link. Try Paint.Net or GIMP?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Paint XP pretty much the same as the 98 one which was atrocious? Paint's never going to be industry leader, at least Paint 7 has some nice tools and functionality. Why would you downgrade from it.
Someone who has XP, just upload mspaint.exe...That's all you have to do.

The new one doesn't have it, and I used it quite often.
Drop down box in Brushes.

Here, this converts the Windows 7 paint to Windows Vista paint, which is ultimately the paint in Windows XP. http://www.askvg.com/how-to-get-the-good-old-ms-paint-without-ribbons-working-in-windows-7/
Windows XP mode has windows XP paint
Have fun http://filesmelt.com/dl/mspaint.exe
uh. why.
What about the spray can tool? The new one doesn't have it, and I used it quite often.
Huh? I coulda sworn it does...
Drop down box in Brushes.
Ohh, thought I looked everywhere, but thanks!

I was wondering why directly using mspaint.exe from Vista didn't work. I'm OK with the ribbon, but the selections for some reason always being off by a pixel (if this isn't a bug, then in comparison to the Vista paint) annoys me to no end.
the mspaint in 7 doesnt have the invert colors feature
the mspaint in 7 doesnt have the invert colors feature
Ctrl + Shift + I
SHIFT?! oh god how dumb i am [editline]11:15AM[/editline] it used to be just CTRL + I :(
The new paint has all the tools, it just has a new GUI design. In fact I like it quite a bit more, it has some extra bonuses, and then new GUI is nice too :)
try paint.net or the gimp if you want free ones if you want to pay then go for photoshop

For a simple tool like paint, it just makes everything harder to find. But I use Paint.NET now. Much better, and doesn't take years to load like photoshop.
paint.net is good and it has a fancy new design in the latest versions

Can I turn off the anti-aliasing? It's really annoying.
http://filesmelt.com/dl/mspaint1.exe There you go. Uploaded direct from my Windows/System32
Can I turn off the anti-aliasing? It's really annoying.
Use Pencil not Brush.
Thanks!
I want xp's minesweeper.
