I love how 80% of the video is essentially the same thing of hip-or-sight-shooting over and over.
It's the most faithful CoD handheld port yet, considering the crap on the DS and the awkward-as-fuck ports on the PSP, but by far it definitely isn't something that looks worthy of getting a Vita over.
I think it looks pretty decent considering it's on a hand held.

Is there any game that would sell a $200+ handheld for you? I can't name many. Maybe a GTA title?

The Vita is a pretty good looking system, you should look up footage from the uncharted game.
Hopefully this controls better then the Resistance game for the Vita, I hated the controls, they felt slow and cumbersome.

Wait, there are only 2 shoulder buttons on the Vita.
That must mean grenades are the touch screen/trackpad, or a button combo.
oh boy now i get to play 24/7 nuketown on the go!!!
Ugh, shitty looking animations and 20 FPS
Good job taking advantage of the hardware, Activision
Might be cool.

Okay, you got me there - but seriously, there's no real singular 'killer app' worth getting the system over, only a handful of its launch titles aren't ports, and I don't see myself getting one until there's a price drop.
Oh wait, sounds like the 3DS there, doesn't it? But meh.

Monster Hunter would sell a console for me.
I've been strongly tempted to get a 3DS just so that I can play MH4 when it's released, but I'm holding back. If only Capcom would lift the veil and just release Frontier in the EU.

Is there anything confirming the game running at 20fps? I'd be surprised if they don't stick to at least 30.

The video is totally 20, it ain't 30 because of how choppy the gameplay is

The entire video was rendered at 20 FPS? Why would you do that though?
Or do you mean that you're confirming that the gameplay was at 20 FPS?

It's a video captured from (probably) a devkit copies and uploaded I think it's pretty hard to judge how the final product is going to run FPS wise.
With Vita, I was hoping we'd get like a full CoD game on it not like some shitty handheld port.
I thought the whole thing about the Vita was it was like a PS3 in your hands.
"All new maps!"
Followed by nuketown.
The one thing I hate about these trailers, why can't they just show us straight, steady gameplay instead of a shaky camera view of the Vita

The game is developed by Nihilstic, the guys who did Resistance: Burning Skies for Vita. That game often ran at 15 FPS and hardly hit 30. This gameplay definitely supports this.
The grenade throw and weapon animations seem to be taken straight out of COD BLOPS: Zombies on iPhone, too.
Those graphics look awful.
Wasn't the vita supposed to have good graphics?

It looks about as "good" as most other Vita titles. Somewhere in between PS2 and PS3. Declassified actually reminds me a lot of the Wii CoD titles, which isn't surprising considering the hardware similarities.
If you were expecting it to look as good as the console CoD's then I dunno.
[editline]14th August 2012[/editline]
Why are we even bitching about graphics for a hand held game?
"ALL NEW MAPS" nuketown... The fuck, thats not new.
COVERT SINGLE PLAYER MISSIONS
Clip after it shows you bursting through the window with 5 guys on the other side and you shoot them all down with a unsilenced smg.

Because the Vita can do much better.

No idea what the second one is but Uncharted probably benefited hugely from first party developer status.
[editline]14th August 2012[/editline]
I'd say this is more of a problem of every third party PS Vita game not taking advantage of the new hardware than specifically CoD.
Persona 4: Golden is making a lot of people consider getting them. If you're into that sort of game.
I've been seriously thinking about trying to scrounge up the money for a Vita just for P4G.

The graphics can look really good, but it depends on the devs.
Wipeout 2048, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss are all clear examples.
This is one of the games I would get a Vita for.

I know it can look good, that's why this game looking like a shoddy iPhone game is unforgivable.

Resistance: Burning Skies looked even worse than this
The game had no detail and ran at 15 FPS and was pretty boring. Textures were muddled to high hell.
Even IGN doesn't like the look of this.
