Welcome to Microsoft we make hardware, software and games I think?
What the fuck is a Halo PC?
“While we’re thrilled there’s so much interest outside of Russia, the beta of Halo Online is a PC experience tailored specifically for the tastes, tech and infrastructure of the Russian market and furthermore, is still in an early state,”
But that's such an alien concept. There's no way that can be right.

They obviously know we want Halo on PC.
Why would they give it? They have almost no reason to. It's the biggest cash cow for consoles.

The more obvious reason is that nobody would buy an Xbone without it.
TMCC was the console seller, putting it on PC would basically murder it.
El Dorito?
Oh my god :v:
Mr. Gates, tear down this wall!

Russia is a massive F2P market I've heard.
It's a joke catch on Eldorado, the codename for the game
If I have to be honest, them naming it El Dorado pisses me off. It's almost like they're making fun of how much we want Halo PC.

El dorado is just the name used for the exe, and (according to the strings I've seen) the tutorial map that isnt in the game yet.
It's still called halo: online

Basically the same as the asian stuff, F2P games that run on medium/low PC hardware.
Games are super expensive, piracy rates are very high, consoles only sell when they can be hard/soft modded.

Isnt it real easy to fake your computer location?
Also more complex interfaces sounds nice.

i doubt it would be fun to play halo with 140+ ping because all the servers are in russia
also you have to rent the fucking guns and they only last for a max of 24 hours at a time
Yes it's pretty much Combat Arms: Halo Edition.
It really is quite disgusting how Microsoft refuse to listen to their fans, until they're backed in to a corner and are practically forced to do a 180, as with the many XBOX One controversies.

Their strategy seems to be to push things as far as they possibly can, back down when there's a knife pressed against their throats just enough to run away, then go right back to doing it all over again.
I get the feeling that Microsoft's anti-consumer practices absolutely delight their investors, though.
