Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has said that Israel will free 104 Palestinian prisoners to coincide with the resumption of long-stalled peace talks."I agreed to free 104 Palestinians in stages, after the start of negotiations and according to progress," he wrote on his official Facebook page on Saturday evening.
Israel's cabinet is expected to tackle the issue on Sunday, and decide whether to allow the release of 104 Palestinians currently in Israeli jails.
Seeking to assuage public qualms about freeing prisoners many of whom were convicted of killing Israelis, Netanyahu issued a statement on Saturday urging the support of Israelis for what he called a "very painful decision".
"Prime ministers must from time to time make decisions that go against public opinion, when it is important for the country to do so," Netanyahu said.
This sounds interesting, although it is of concern that some of these Palestinians have been convicted for murder.
"Oh, and another thing about Israel..."

Here we go again. First peace talks, release prisoners, arrest again and repeat.
This isn't the first time it's happening. There are prisoners who were jailed for more than once since Gilhad Shalit's exchange. They always go straight into action again after their release.
If you ask me, it's even more hard to talk about peace with this going on.
There. Now will you all stop shitting all over everything Israel does? FOR 5 FUCKING SECONDS?!?
i hate the fact that the only reason they're doing this is because of the EU's aid block

They were doing it way before the aid block.

I hope they get something good out of it. Isn't this one of the few ways Israel actually can do peace agreements? He "Agreed to free 104 Palestinians in Stages", so there's definitely another part that wants them out.

It's 'Operation Mixed Signals'
You keep the international community divided with a two-faced state and actions, and it allows you to continue your atrocities.

I throw my shoes upon Israel.
Sorry for bumping. But this is important news and this thread is getting buried really fast.
Right now i can tell people here in Israel are really upset. There are already protests against releasing the prisoners.
