• Simple program to make animated .gifs? (with a transparent background)

So I got some frames I want to turn into an animated .gif. Someone recommended me photoscape. It works fine except that it won't let you make your background transparent. I know that you can do it with photoshop and gimp but there you have to pull each frame into the file by hand which I can't be arsed to do. So does anybody know a program where I can simply load the images (with a transparent bg) and adjust the intervall between the frames to make an animation?
I'm interested with this as well. Virtualdub does well for gifs but it can't work with alpha channels.
If by photoshop you mean you have to open each file one by one to make a gif, no you don't. You may also want to reverse the frames too. Then save it for web (Ctrl+Alt+Shift).
