The Justice Department has launched a new inquiry into whether the Clinton Foundation engaged in any pay-to-play politics or other illegal activities while Hillary Clinton served as secretary of State
http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/367541-fbi-launches-new-clinton-foundation-investigation#.Wk-T1_9nGN4.twitter
I mean, I'm definitely okay with this. The only thing about the #LOCKHERUP shit I hated was it was the only thing they seemed to be able to say about Clinton, and we'd hear absolutely no commentary about Trump's crimes. If the FBI findes something, good. I hope whoever needs to be punished, gets it.
Good. The FBI needs to be impartial and, as preferable as she would have been to Trump, Hillary is still shady as hell.
How telling it would be if the two biggest political parties had two criminals be their presidential candidate.
I'd love to see if Fox keeps up their rhetoric about the FBI being corrupt and partisan after this.
I'd love to see if Fox keeps up their rhetoric about the FBI being corrupt and partisan after this.
fox will just say they're only doing it to get republicans off their ass. they never cared about jailing clinton, they cared about removing trump's competition.
How fucked would it be if both Trump and Clinton were found guilty of some insanely serious shit

Can't wait for all the mental gymnastics of people who are suddenly okay with how the FBI is operating again.
If they find nothing people will go right back to using Clinton as a whataboutism, it won't fucking end ever I'm sure 200 years from now it'll still be brought up
Guys, guys. What if they're using the investigation to distract Trump's supporters from impeding his own investigation, essentially fighting But Hillary with But Hillary?
Yeah, totally okay with this, I trust the FBI to have good reasons, and in that case it is a very important investigation. Not looking forward to the intensifying whataboutism deflections this will be used for by the right, though.
5 Different Ways Bernie Can Still Win
That's a weird way to say Jeb.
I doubt they'll find anything.
Can't wait for all the mental gymnastics of people who are suddenly okay with how the FBI is operating again.
They seem to be playing the semantics game, the fox rewrite of the hill article (seriously its almost word for word) says Justice Department over and over again and briefly mentions fbi, given hos the ACA and Obamacare are two seperate things in Fauxland thats enough for their people
Meanwhile there's no effort to investigate how the FBI knew about Papadopoulos' indiscretions in a London bar with the Aussie diplomat before the election and didn't disclose that information when Comey wrote his letter to Congress about the Hillary investigation - an act that likely influenced the election. Comey knew the Trump campaign was in contact with the Russians and cooperating with them to fiddle with the election, but he didn't reveal this even as he was forced by the NY FBI office to go public with the Hillary investigation right before the vote. The Republican-run FBI is being accused of pro-Clinton bias when there was obvious issues of bias towards Trump that Congressional Republicans aren't at all concerned about. They're just looking to cause trouble. This is just like reinvestigating Benghazi six times because you didn't find anything to blame on Clinton the first five. Never mind that most of Trump's White House staff were using personal email accounts for government business from the start without a hint of irony or self-awareness.
Clinton foundation is known to be involved in quite a fair bit of shady shit in Latin America though. Here is an example of what they did/still do in Colombia. https://fusion.net/story/357169/hillary-clinton-foundation-victims-colombia/ Trump supporters are dumb, but if they're right about one thing is that Hillary is shady as hell.

i want to live in the timeline where clinton and trump are both guilty of serious crimes [sp]and have to share a cell[/sp]
i want to live in the timeline where clinton and trump are both guilty of serious crimes [sp]and have to share a cell[/sp]
Make it a cage match. The one that wins gets to live in the cage instead.
finally we can lock them both up
i want to live in the timeline where clinton and trump are both guilty of serious crimes [sp]and have to share a cell[/sp]
This would make an excellent sitcom.
Forget Uranium One. The Clinton Foundation has taken millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman to name a few. I'm not quite convinced these were donations made out of pure charity and kindness.
They probably aren't investigating for PR or because they 'feel like it'. I wouldn't be surprised if Clinton can be charged with something. But it'll be annoying seeing Trump supporters have a complete double standard, regarding this investigation as valid because it's about politicians they don't like vs their favorite guy so it must be bullshit waste of time lies biased etc.
Make it a cage match. The one that wins gets to live in the cage instead.
Winner gets top bunk.
finally we can lock them both up
Doubtful. The Clinton Foundation has been investigated several times by both authorities and journalists and while some misgivings can be found, nobody has found anything conclusively illegal. I'll be surprised if this investigation ends much differently, but maybe the pressure from Trump will encourage the DoJ to dig deeper.
