Budget? And don't buy from pcworld they're overpriced.
yeah a 4650 is good
Budget? And don't buy from pcworld they're overpriced.
I know, but i want them to install it since I have no clue how to and I figure they would rather install their own gpus than other companys
Installing a graphics card is easy as balls. It's pretty much impossible to screw it up.
Installing a graphics card is easy as balls. It's pretty much impossible to screw it up.
Ive seen people ram it into a PCI slot before instead of the PCI express they have. But yea still a hard task to accomplish.

I think he meant hard to fuck up.
It will work, but it won't fit. You need a low-profile card, because your case is small. Also, your PSU may not be up to the challenge.
I think he meant hard to fuck up.
Correct.I made it sounds like it worked. But no it doesn't.

you can leave the side panel off and still use the card, the psu should be fine the 4650 doesn't draw that much over a 3450
you can leave the side panel off and still use the card, the psu should be fine the 4650 doesn't draw that much over a 3450
Will crossfire work if there's enough room for both?
A) Can't Crossfire 4650 and 3450. B) Mobo probably doesn't support Crossfire.
A) Can't Crossfire 4650 and 3450. B) Mobo probably doesn't support Crossfire.
Both the cards support crossfire but I'm not sure about the motherboard
You can't Crossfire the cards together.
you can leave the side panel off and still use the card, the psu should be fine the 4650 doesn't draw that much over a 3450
No you couldn't... Because the expansion slots would be in the way.
No you couldn't... Because the expansion slots would be in the way.
so what should I get then?
No you couldn't... Because the expansion slots would be in the way.
Explain? How would they "be in the way"
You'd need one of these, just have to find it on a different website.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102829
Explain? How would they "be in the way"
Not only would the card not fit because of shit inside of the computer, the expansion slot/holes on the back of the computer would be in the way. [img_thumb]http://i27.tinypic.com/xglegx.jpg[/img_thumb]
Not only would the card not fit because of shit inside of the computer, the expansion slot/holes on the back of the computer would be in the way. [img_thumb]http://i27.tinypic.com/xglegx.jpg[/img_thumb]
Yeah, you won't be able to fit anything bigger than a 9600GT in a Dell or HP case. Prefab computers have THE worst layouts. In my case the freaking hard drive isn't even in a bay, it's just sitting on the bottom of my case and locked onto the side. It's also a micro-ATX case, so there's no room for me to put my 650w PSU and the expansion bays are freaking MASSIVE.
No And it's agp, but the one you first listed is PCI-E, so which one do you have..
Currently I have an Ati Radeon 3450 and I've just listed 2 new ones which I might want and I'm asking if they'll work
get out
No.
No you couldn't... Because the expansion slots would be in the way.
what, iff you leave the side panel off the card will jut out but that is about it
