Some reason when I play a game with using the unreal engine the textures are really low res, I have put the settings to max on killing floor, and I have played this game on my 8800GT before installing my 5850HD, and the textures were really nice. Now they are all anus looking:

I have a friend who has the same card and he has problems in games like World in Conflict and Command And Conquer i think it's the same deal sometimes his mouse and textures disappear. But i don´t know what's causing it
Some times in call of duty 6 the walls disappear too.

Maybe it's the driver that is causing it? if it is there's not much you can do but wait..
Try turning off Catalyst AI.
Yeah, that was the first thing I tried. Sadly it didn't help. I'm new to ATI cards and the drivers are a hell of a lot different.
