Are there people you see in real life that you have no idea what they look like

...because you've never talked to them and have never stared at them long enough from a frontal view to register their facial features to memory? With the result that the majority of their being exists only as a figment of your imagination?
Sometimes I wish I had photographs at times.
yet, I do think that as idealizations, people are better that way. what do you think?
No, I look people in the face when I talk to them
Yeah, I usually peel the skin off their faces before we get to know each other.
No I usually peel the skin off of my penis before I get to know me.
Its not that hard to register what someone looks like. If I look at them once and have some sort of connection to them, I'll remember them.
What. I don't understand
:suicide:
No, I tend to look at people I know..

true. but sometimes, I try to imagine someone's face in my mind, and I just fail.
I'd think I know what they look like, but I really don't. what I have is recognition, i'd recognize their faces if I saw them, but I don't know what they look like.
I don't know what my face looks like and I know me the best :ohdear:
I don't think I understand the question, please elaborate.
Truthfully, I think it's easier to learn people's faces than names, so I'd assume that I could conjure an image in my head of features I remember or recognize.

I wish I had photographic or eidetic memory.
A face is easily remembered but not always recalled without some link to something else.
Humans are very good at observing other humans and will know when something is not natural for example.
OP, try to look at their face instead of the ground. And learn to look them in the eye.

Or do what I do and hide in the bushes while they're conversing with their friends and study their features through a telescope.

I don't talk to them, and would rather not get caught staring at them like some sort of creep.
It makes observing very difficult. of course, I could talk to them, but not all the time, or when I do wish.
Never. If anything, I tend to subtlely demarcate the lines between ourselves, even if it means me killing them.
But in all seriousness idealising people will cause more problems in the long run if you intend to see them on a regular basis.

You don't talk to people?
OP is high right now.

Not unless I absolutely need to.

You don't have to talk to people to look at them.
edit:
I was like you when i was younger. Looking people in the eyes is nicer than looking at the ground. People will notice you're always looking at the ground. But they won't notice you're just looking around.

No wonder you can't remember people's faces.
You always make weird threads..

It's like he sits down, things of a really mundane thing and springs to the computer to make a thread about it
Next up: Cork boards, do they feel pain?

If I tried really hard I could probably describe my immediate family's faces.
When I think of someone, their face isn't for whatever reason the first thing that comes to mind. I could easily describe the walking styles of almost everyone I know, and their heights and weights. Obviously stuff like hair colour is easy to remember, and whether they wear glasses and what kind of makeup etc.
But if their facial features are not extremely pronounced, I can't recall or describe them. I can't describe the nose, jaw, lips or cheeks of my best friend whom I've known for 10 years.
In fact, I can describe almost complete strangers or people I don't see that regularly a lot more easily. That's probably because I can associate just one particular event with them, and I can reconstruct the situation in my mind and remember what everything looked like very clearly.
op is high as fuck
I kinda get what you're saying.
Like, you can't really remember what someone looks like, but when you see them, you know who it is.
some people have really plain, unmemorable faces but I find once I get to know them I can picture them more clearly in my head.
