I have been searching and searching for a driver cause my damn computer cant find it and I havent had any luck. Does anyone know where I can dl a usb 2.0 driver for windows 7 AMD for free? As of right now i am stuck with 4/8 usb slots on my rig cause 4 of them wont work.
Please forgive my naive ignorance when it comes to this topic.
USB drivers, when onboard, go by your motherboard drivers. You have to find out what motherboard your have, then go to the official webpage for the proper drivers.
You can find your motherboard model by using Speccy, Dxdiag, or by opening your computer case.
USB 2.0 drivers would be chipset, but usually work natively. If only 4 of your 8 work with Windows 7, it's more likely they are blue USB 3.0 ports. What's the model of your motherboard?

AMD FX 6300
And yes they are USB 3.0 blues I think
That's your processor, we need to know your motherboard model. Click on this link to download speccy, a system info program. Run it, take a screenshot of what it says, and post that on here. Then I can give you a link to your motherboard's USB 3.0 drivers.
