This is a WIP, it's done in Contec Crayon. This is my first time using this medium, so if you've ever used it, some advice would help. It's rather large, so I had to use my camera to take a picture, which explains the random dead pixels and the blur.

C&C please.
Yikes loading time. First of all, you can reduce the overall size down to 800 pixels wide, or even 600, and it's still easy to see. Make it a jpeg as well. PNG is for web site graphics and images with text in it, like comics. No need to use a loss less format on a drawing like that.
I love the style of it, I can't really help you improve though because I'm bad at art. I like it though.
this medium is rather difficult. i find it useful to outline my piece with a darker color OF that color. to reduce the blurred/smeared effect you seem to have going on. i dont use contec crayon that often anymore because its a general pain in the ass. but for being your first time using it. kudos. as for the picture itself, its a tad disproportionate. but other than that mate, very nice job!
It's nice, but I think there's something missing with the skin tone.
I improved more on it today, I'll update the thread in a few days. What I did with the skin was set an even tone for the whole thing, making it the color of the darkest area. Then, using a white crayon, I highlighted the areas where the light hits and smudged them inwards towards the darker areas to give it a natural looking blend.
As for the proportions, I realized my mistakes after I had already colored over them. Erasing Conte Crayon is a pain, so I decided to just ignore it for now.
The face lacks female traits. I didn't realize it was a girl before I read your title again after having looked at it for a while. You've also made the head extremely wide and long in width. You've made her tilt her head upwards, but you've made the back of the head as if she was looking forwards.
Somewhat like this:

You should also re-size your images before uploading, and save photographic files in JPEG, not PNG.

her face is scaring me.. make it stop!!
Since that picture, I've colored in her eyes and made the shadows a little more defined. The reason her head seems so large is because she has very bushy hair (I had a live model to draw off of), and that's how she looked from my angle.

Have you even taken a look at how the hat is stretched? And I can promise you if she looked exactly like she does in the drawing... Then you got a very anatomically incorrect model to work on.
It has a cool style to it that I like, but there are heaps of flaws in it anatomically. And the head is one of them.
I'm not denying it. I think the major flaw was that when I started drawing, I did the hat first, then when the face seemed larger, I tried to stretch it out. When I realized the hat was too big, I just filled the rest in with hair. When using Conte Crayon, it's hard as hell to fix mistakes, so I just tried to compensate for them.. which didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.

True. Oh well, as long as you're aware of it :)
The overall anatomy looks good other than the right hand / hand position. Also, it appears she is putting her left hand in the crook of her arm? It doesn't look very natural. (The hands at least)
It looks like she is using a stubby prosthetic arm as a headrest.
