Well here we go, ive been messing with Vmware & Virtual Box, BUT Im having an issue with "USB Wireless Cards" Such as "Realtek 8187l" For example. I do have a Youtube Video explaining the issue far better than what i have done here, (Excuse Audio Quality) If anyone is able to help. i have searched the forums for "Related" Issue's, & None fit the bill. "Devices Mount Into Vmware & Virtual Box Without Issue, Also Using Backtrack 5 R3" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXrHMNkxQg8&feature=c4-overview&list=UUwKqTulm99EAbcBPncb8bDg
That's a pretty weird problem. The only thing I could think it'd be is a problem with the host OS drivers. If the host OS is Windows 7, it's known for inexplicably having bizarre problems with USB devices that are only fixable with an OS reinstall. I've had it happen twice and it's REALLY annoying.
Try disabling power saving for the USB hub via Device Manager.
Thanks GiGaBiTe & birkett. @birkett, Never thought of that, But got my Laptop on "High Perf Mode" So i could take a guess at that being a minimal issue if any, but will take a look, cheers for the help, i really appreciate it.. @GiGaBite, Yeh, Really hoping that isn't the case, Specially as iv'e already tried 2 Different Virtual Machine Software's with similar results. As for "USB Drivers" I Assume ive installed them, Or Windows has, which again, ive never had an issue with before. Also using Windows 8, Which again, works fine & Dandy, As the device's Mount into the Virtual Enviroment, & Works till a point..
Not sure if im Allowed to "Bump" Threads, But i will risk it anyways!.. As its something i need help on xD. "Bump" xD

I'd just say point blank, get a better usb adapter. I'm a little confused as tio why you need it to show up in the VM though. As youre host computer is connected, the VM's can use NAT, which will use your adpater and give the VM's their own IP address.

Wanting to use the Wireless Card Within the Virtual Enviroment For "Injection" & Such. & The cards in question are fine as far as i know.
