Here are a bunch of 8Bit Lady Gaga sprites I made for use with the game "Sleep is Death"

What do you think?
They're pretty neat. :buddy:
They look awesome. Good job.
Awesome, you forgot her penis though!
Awesome, you forgot her penis though!
She has no penis for gods sakes.
Great job!
It would be very funny to see a 8-bit animated Lady Gaga dancing to a chiptune rendition of 'Telephone'
They are nice but did you deliberately mess up the proportions? Also the BG color doesn't contrast well with the first outfit.
Hotdog one is epic.

Actually, the proportions are based on a headless silhouette of her I found, as well as the posture.
we're... talking proportions on a tiny 8bit sprite? :raise:
anyways, pretty neat concept ya got going there... but I don't see the hotdog one in your avatar, haha.
Well, why the fuck not? Other people do it. Does it being small somehow affect its representation of a human?

guiz this is perfect in every way possible and you can't say otherwise cuz it's too small.
i like hotdogs, so i like this

The hotdog one and the bad romance one were both too tall to put in my avatar, otherwise I'd love to have them in there. I could, however, make them half the size, while preserving the quality of them, because I think they use 2 pixels per "block".
Also, I made more:

And whoever was accusing me of it, what's wrong with her proportions?
Well, why the fuck not?
way to overreact, man. It just doesn't sound like something that would come out when talking about a sprite of these ones' dimensions. :/
Quite interesting sprite thingies. Keep up the good work.
More still. Check out the OP.
Cool!
Because I wanted to see how fucked up lady gaga has been in my absense from the stupid pointless entertainment scene, I googled her. Here is a ridiculously stupid outfit of hers and it looks like it's a must for this little series, lol.

I like how you say "accusing" like I'm downing your work, it's constructive criticism. From what I can instantly see, her head is enormous, legs short, shoulders too wide and square, hips too thin, legs don't taper, left leg looks broken at the knee and arms are looking rather masculine (not in size but in the pose).
I will say that they are neat and would fit well into the average home-grown 2d pixel platformer style, such as 'I wanna Be The Guy' or something.
way to overreact, man.
Way to question completely legitimate criticism, man.
Way to question completely legitimate criticism, man.
starting with "Why the fuck not" made the entire post sound bitchy, no matter how legitimate it was. I know you better than that (kinda), so it seemed really off-key. :raise:
I understand the complexity and breathing room to adjust things proportionally in the work I've seen you do, but when talking proportions of much smaller dimension characters like this (from my non pixel artist view, almost akin to the NES mario sprite and such), it just seems like there isn't enough room to complain about such things because moving around one or two pixels could entirely redefine a shape in the wrong direction.
anyways, the new sprites are comin' along, can't wait to see more.
Ooh, make the Kermit outfit. :v:

These are cool.

You're trying to sound so smart and critical, but you're only making yourself sound like an idiot.
Die.

also, what the hell, guys... :raise:
Those are really good. I like the unique style. The one in the hot dog suit is my favorite.
Great stuff.

I'm gonna have nightmares
I'm going to be honest here, THOSE ARE AWESOME!... >_> Yes I said that, and I think you should get the ones with her upper-leg boots that clash horridly (like so many of her other outfits) with her skintight top. XD
