It is an expansion pack.

BF2: Special Forces cost the same when it was released
Is there really anyone out there who needs more content already?
I'm so overwhelmed by this game. It's going to be a while to get through everything that's already in there.
Wait how much did BF2 Special Forces cost?
This is going to be awesome, I'm already on my second play through of Dragon age.
Better be a damn good expansion
Damn that was pretty quick.
It's more than I paid for the full game, though I did only get it a few weeks ago

15 hours of gameplay and new features is worth it to me.
Any other big name game wouldn't give you that much for that little. For example, AC2 was no where near that length, neither was MW2 or Uncharted 2.
It's a lot for a little.
I haven't heard of the word expansion for a long time, brings a tear to my eye.
I thought expansions went extinct a long time ago
Wow. That's about $20 more than I thought it would be.
I thought expansions went extinct a long time ago
EA never stopped and never will.
Jesus FUCK that is overpriced. I've never seen one over $30 (except for maybe the Sims).
People need to stop comparing this expansion to the price of others. Different games, different companies.
Anyone who says this is overpriced clearly hasn't experienced the greatness that is Dragon Age. But 15 hours? DA: Origins always takes me 40 hours to beat

While that may be true, you also have to look at the fact that this expansion which requires the game itself to play, costs a mere $10 less than the game itself. That's expensive.
90 bucks for a 60 hour dragon slaying adventure

Most people got the game while it was on sale. Original sales price is 50 USD if I'm correct.
As for now that is on steam...i'm sure once it comes out you can get it a retailer for a lot less. People need to stop panicking..wait till retail and we will get true pricing.
It's worth it. Damn I can't wait for this expansion.

No.

I hope the Alistair's golden armor stays in it. although I do love the juggernaut plate. I haven't gotten use Wades Dragonbone plate yet
Shivering Isles wasn't that much and I guarantee you SI is better than this.
I doubt that, Shivering Isles was nothing amazing, it's length was only 7-8 hours by the way.

Alistair isn't a squad member. Only one squad member is returning and it has already leaked as [sp]drunk dwarf man[/sp]
