So I installed win 7 via bootcamp fine. I noticed when I reboot win 7 the MacBook would start booting and turn off, it wouldn't turn on again for about 5 mins.
This time however I turned it off via shutdown but now it won't boot at all 30 mins now. The side battery meter lights are stuck on and when I plug in the power it no longer lights up.
So I assume it's the battery, but I couldnt remove it because some of the back screws refuse to move.
Fuckered? I poured a pint o' water on the laptop months ago which broke the keyboard (using external) but has been fine with osx for 3 months so I'm assuming that's not related.
Sorry for any bad spelling; iPhone
is this the first time you installed another OS through Boot Camp?

I'm not too sure what happened but I had to ask.
did you install on the unpartitioned space if not I found your problem...
Yes it's installed correctly I've booted into windows fine and osx. Just now ts randomly fucked.
Yup, just reset SMC (Also look into doing PRAM). If that doesn't power on, take it into a service provider.
That's basically all AppleCare will tell you to do if it won't start. Although they'll also probably say "try another power point just to be safe".
Already tried, failed. I believe it's a common macbook pro fault, basically I need to remove the battery. I would take it to an apple store, but the water damage will void any repair.
A full repair for it would be around $700 including new keyboard, so I've bought myself a cheap windows laptop, since I prefer Win7 anyway. So yeah, it's just gonna sit dead till I get some new screwdrivers and pop it open.
