I never got the big push for wireless VR, about a year of playing roomscale I can say the cord was never really a huge problem for me. That's roomscale, too. Just sitting down or standing and facing one direction removes any encumbrance of the cords. Then again I guess it just makes sense to go wireless, it's the logical next step forward.
