What I have now is a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948 I was thinking about getting something better so more recent games will run better. (Metro: Last Light, DayZ, Arma 3, etc..) Can you guys suggest me some GPUs in a good price range that meet the criteria?
What's your budget then?
Yeah, budget is a big thing. My Saphire Radeon 7850 was $180 on Newegg. However, i have also seen that the Gigabyte Radeon 7850 2Gb RAM edition was only $150. However, they sell like hotcakes, so if that strikes your interest and you happen to see buy it! Newegg seems to have the greatest prices.
Budget would be like in the high 100$ low 200$ region
Get an R9 270X or R9 270 and overclock it to a 270X performance. Or a 760 if you want Nvidia.
I would actually suggest getting a 760 since it performs about 5-10 fps better than the R9 270/x, but the cheapest 760 is around $250. I suggest getting the Twin Frozr 270 and overclocking it at a decent speed, but it depends on your specs.
Budget would be like in the high 100$ low 200$ region
See if you can snag a 7870 Tahiti LE/XT (hard to find now though) Else if you want AMD go for an R9 270 and overclock it to R9 270X clocks (boom, free 270X, they are the same card just different stock clocks) or a 760 if you want nvidia, 760 performs slightly better but costs a fair bit more than a 270.
Well here's my specs if you need them
