My sisters' 5.1 creative piece of shit from 4 years back has finally had enough, it sounds like all of the speakers are busted except the sub so there's not much more to do but get a new one. I discussed some things and her only criteria is pretty much that it has a subwoofer and that it plays music. Absolute cap is $200 but the further below that it stays the happier she'll be.
While I could just pick up a cheap logitech 2.1 system I figures there's so much better to be had but I wouldn't know where to look, so please help.
Thanks.
I'm in Sweden by the way.
Just buy a 2.1 off newegg and add like ten bucks to the total price for some Mc Donalds.

There are a lot of options if you already have an amp. If you have a low budget and some time, you can definitely get great sound by searching for a used amp and speakers.
If you're looking for a more simple, traditional computer speaker set I would recommend the Swan M10. I picked up a set for my girlfriend and she loves them (they look and sound great, especially for the $125.00 price).

Unfortunately I can't find that anywhere in Sweden (probably should've mentioned I'm in Sweden). Other ideas?
