• How would I go about overclocking my GPU?

I fear my graphics card (nVidia Geforce 8400 GS) is overheating, and causing severe fps loss in my games. Exactly how does one "overclock" it? I am thinking about buying a new one if this does not work. Google has not helped me, as the tutorials require know-how I dont have. I feel really dumb for asking, as im sure the solution will be piss easy for anyone who knows about this stuff. ^Thats bad.
You're overclocking lava? What the christ... Get a fan on your video card before doing anything.
It has a fan, it must have died! Poor guy had a family and everything
So you're planning on overclocking an already overheating 8400GS - and you think it will be cooler? Alright, good luck to you Sir, and have a nice day.
Overclocking that would quite possibly prove fatal to your computer
Why would you want to overclock it? It's already at the boiling point of water. You might want to "underclock" it it will be a bit slower but it wont overheat so the Fps wouldn't go down so much.
