Hunt: Showdown—and what appears to be a somewhat changed premise: "When two hunters risk everything and evil waits unseen, the hunter becomes the hunted." What that actually means is anybody's guess, but the teaser released earlier this week suggests that the game will still be set in a 19th-century horror-fantasy world, but will feature a greater focus on competitive play.
And there goes my interest :(
I really wish Crytek the best, they are in a dire need for a new hit or they will go down for good.

They still have their engine to license out. Worst case scenario, they go the way of Valve and stop making games but still passively collect money for everything else they do.

Then they can freely go bankrupt tomorrow for all I care. I want them to make money to make more good games, I don't care if it just sits in the bank.
Competitive game are either win big or die miserably from what I've seen.
They should rather focus on making a fun and enjoyable game and then when it turns out that people prefer to play it competitively, you can expand on it.
Too many devs focus on the competitive aspect first and completely lose themselves in it and in the end it won't pay off.

CryEngine isn't that popular, I doubt it can keep them afloat alone.
