• Need opinions and help with my build

I think this is going to be my final parts for this build. I just wanted to get some opinions on it and see if there are any better parts that might go for cheaper. Or if this is just a solid build for a budget up to $1000. I kinda wanted to keep it around $950 though because steam summer sale is happening in the near future and I wanted to save up some money for new games to really play on this rig. A couple of things: 1.I'm using my old hard drive in this build, that's why you don't see a hard drive in this. 2.I don't need to worry about OS at all. 3.I need an opinion on the motherboard. 4.The hyper X fury is showing up for 79.99$ on newegg for 1600. Yet there is also 1866 that's selling for 79.99$ as well. Can someone explain why that is and if newegg just messed up on that? If not, I was going to pay the 79.99$ for the 1866 instead of the amazon one on my part list. Regardless I'm going to buy the ram on newegg cause it's cheaper 5. I got suggestions to over clock the cpu instead of just getting the 8350. Yet I'm really scared to overclock it because I won't have money to buy a new cpu if it just dies out on me. Plus Linustech on youtube said overclocking can bring down the cpu's life span and I want this build to last me a good amount of time. So I'm not sure if I should just stick with the 8320 and leave it at stock speed or spend a little more and get the 8350 and leave it at stock speed. general purpose if for gaming/ school work. Thanks for viewing/ helping out.
First of all the 8350 is just an overclocked 8320. Doesn't make sense to buy a high end cooler and not overclock it. You don't need an aftermarket cooler if you're not overclocking. I would suggest this. Much better CPU than the FX. The 8320 is really not a gaming cpu, it's more for video editing/ rendering but it works well for gaming too. There's no reason not to get an intel cpu for this price range. Better GPU as well. Everything else should be better too. Also, the Antec P280 is cheaper than the R4 if you wanna switch it out. It's bigger and looks similar.
It doesn't make sense to get DDR3-1866 with an i5-4670k because the CPU can only use 1333/1600.
It's the same price. I just like how the sniper looks honestly
It doesn't make sense to get DDR3-1866 with an i5-4670k because the CPU can only use 1333/1600.
ANY haswell chip is only rated up to 1600, but you can use higher just fine generally.
Based on what I've learned in this subforum, games don't really benefit from speeds higher than 1600MHz. It's only practical to have much faster RAM if you're using one of those APUs from AMD (which really aren't that great to begin with). Better to just save your money and get 1333MHz or 1600MHz.
