Because it's a fucking GREAT game!
I just really hope they don't pull it down the yearly release shithole.
I hope they keep taking risks in future installments. Looking from 1 to 2 to 3, they're really only related by name; the mechanics and story of each is radically different and I hope that theme of drastic changes and unorthodox development makes its way into the next Far Cry.
You'd make more money if you released the full soundtrack. Seriously guys this game has an incredible soundtrack and you'll know what i'm talking about if you got the special edition.
I just ask that the next one have more to do after the game is over. Far Cry 3 was fun as hell, but once I beat it I realized there wasn't much else to do.
Things that could improve FarCry3 for me are: - More variety of character / person models - More variety in sounds for characters But game-play's great. Soundtrack is amazing too; worth the extra cost of the duluxe edition.
I still hope they'll make a Co-op version which is basically just the single-player with up to four people, with higher difficulty.
Far Cry 3 is the first game ever I know where you can actually rely on bushes for cover from sight.
I though Far Cry became a major pillar after Far Cry 2.
I just really hope they don't pull it down the yearly release shithole.
Ubisoft's pretty good about making good games on a frequent basis. The only game I can think of that Ubisoft makes that comes out almost yearly is Assassin's Creed, which isn't all that bad.
I would totally like to see some more games like Far Cry 3. Make sure the always-on DRM stays dead and make more quality games like that, and Ubisoft may finally be off my shit list.
looks like Ubi's been getting better over the past year or so, glad to see it.
Far Cry 3 needed/needs more guns.
Far Cry 3 is the first game ever I know where you can actually rely on bushes for cover from sight.
You can do that in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: CS, CoP and SoC
Yes that's what happens if you actually give the developer decent conditions to make a game.
Well, Assassin's Creed has done really well with yearly releases and gets noticeable, significant improvements. So I'm going to assume Far Cry would get a similar treatment. Which is good because as fun as FC3 was, it has many areas to polish up.

"Make a good & innovating game, AND people will buy it?" Jesus, It's like they're shocked by that's what people want.

And revalations was practically just a forced continuation of Ezio's storyline?
