I need some banners for a download site for Minecraft. Can someone maybe tell me the best way to do these?

I honestly don't care how the banners or done, just anything that looks better than what I got.
Using other people's screenshots/images probably isn't a very good idea. Try taking your own screenshots.

A better font, plus images with a coherent theme and something in common.

Seconded. It would be a good idea to take some of your own screenshots. It would give you a bigger image to work with, and you wouldn't have anyone looking at the banners and thinking to themselves, "Oh, I've seen that before."
