• How do i take naps

So whenever im downloading something i really want to take a nap, but i wont. I did once, it was my first time. I slept for 3 hours and woke up with the worst feeling in my life. I tired, murky, bogged down, sweaty, thirsty, hungry and felt like throwing up. How do i take a decent nap?

Go in your room, turn on your ceiling fan if you have one, turn off the lights, close your door, get in bed and let the sleepiness drift over you.
Go to bed earlier?
And don't forget an alarm to not sleep too much, if you don't have one then look on your cell phone for one, even most regular cells have one, smartphones aren't the only useful phone :D
I say you take a shot of nyquil and rock back in your computer chair with The Roots and Rainymood on. That's what I do...

1. Lie down on your bed. Get a blanket if you need to. 2. Lie there and think about shit. 3. Sleep. 4. Wake up with that horrible pasty feeling in your mouth. 5. Go drink a glass of water. NOW YOU KNOW.

I like the taste of nyquil
But it's medicine... herp. Seriously though, who cares? It tastes good and knocks me out for 5 hours after 10 shots.

I took a "nap" after school the other day, my mam woke me up to go to school.
3 hours is too long for a nap, keep it around an hour otherwise you wake up really groggy
Get a brick and proceed to swiftly smash it into your head. You'll be out for a while.
I usually get really sleepy after lunch...

Powernaps are the best if you want to get more energy. It's not a sleep, but you spend time in that hazy Not-actually-sleep-but-not-actually-awake limbo state. 20 minutes of this and you're good to go Not everyone really pull it off but it's the best Non-caffeine method.
20 minute naps get me energized again, just make sure that you set an alarm but make sure that nothing bothers you during that time...
Naps are only effective if you're actually tired and [i]want[/i] to fall asleep during the day. If you force yourself to sleep when your body doesn't need rest you're not going to get the same "refreshing" effect when you wake up.

You have to be tired or else it will be shit.

I hate it when I take a nap, and wake up like 5 hours later still tired, but I love it when I sleep for like 10 minutes and wake up fully refreshed.
I love being tired all day and when it's time to go out, I become completely active. Awesome vacation pattern. When school starts, I'll have a tough first week though...
you lay down, and close your eyes
Deprive yourself of sleep. Lay down and close your eyes. When you wake up, deprive yourself of sleep a little less. Repeat process untill it actually works.
