I plan on upgrading from my ATI 4670 (and giving it to my roommate) and I'm not sure what I should get. My budget is about $150. My current specs are: Pentium Dual Core E6300 2.8ghz MSI G31TM-P21 HIS HD 4670 512mb GDDR3 2gb DDR2 800mhz (will have 4gb eventually) CoolMax 600watt Windows XP 32-bit This is what I"m looking at: http://www.frys.com/product/6092428?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG http://www.frys.com/product/5944684?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG http://www.frys.com/product/5907394?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG I need to know which is better for the price and if I will experience any bottleneck.
Last link is the better one of them all, if possible find the 1gb version oops it's not a 5770, hahaha
Buy from Newegg.com And get this:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102864 [editline]03:58AM[/editline] It's better than all of those.
ok I'll get the 4770. I stated this in other threads, I can't order from Newegg since no matter what they deny my credit card. but I'll trying ordering it with a Visa gift card. I just linked Fry's since there are two by where I live and it's just easier for me to go there and get it.
ghostofme has got what you need, if that visa card works
4850 (http://www.frys.com/product/5944684?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG) is the best for the money, 4770 is slightly worse than it
hm, and it's cheaper too..

just realized that the 4850 cheaper than the Frys and Newegg 4770 [editline]08:06PM[/editline]
You can send Newegg a check. It's how I pay for my shit.
I don't mail checks, I almost lost $100 that way. Was damn lucky I got my money back.

Whatever works best for you.
I play my games at 1440x900 btw
I play my games at 1440x900 btw
Grab that 4850 and OC then.
ok, it's decided. I'm getting the 4850 in a week or two. thanks guys.
not much of an upgrade...
accord to benchmarks it is. [editline]10:42PM[/editline] well, if isn't much of an upgrade then what is? keep in mind my budget is $150, I can't spend more than that.
i would go with 5770/5750 but your choice.
Try stretch to a 4870/5770 IMO.
5770 is pretty darn good :) You would notice the difference.
