I've had my iPod touch 2G for 2 years now and it doesn't seem to keep its battery as long as it used too, so is it worth the £60 battery replacement (considering it also sluggish) or to shell out the full £150/£170 for a iPT4G 8GB?
For the difference I'd pick up a 4g and a bumper
my bad, I thought you meant iphone not ipod touch
If you're going to get the iPod touch 4th generation, just get the 32GB while you're at it. It costs a tad bit more, but you get 3x the storage, it's well worth it. Plus with the new version it's much faster, so you'll likely have more apps and music, etc.

Go for it!
