Ever since I did a reset my computer will not let me use task manager. When i click task manager nothing happens as if I clicked cancel. <--- I'm just new here because Facepunch used to be invite only. I am not one of those fags who came here for rust beta keys. Thanks- Matt
What about msconfig? regedit? Have you scanned your machine for virus? [editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
Press “Windows Key + R“, type “regedit” in the “Run” dialogue box. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System Double click on “Disable TaskMgr” at the right pane. Set the value to 0. Restart the computer.
For some reason there is nothing in the Policies folder
He's right, there's nothing in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, go to the same folder path but using HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE instead
I did it and THA FILE AINT THERE!
Oh snap, didn't realize you were using Win7. In that case you'll have to look around, or "Search" for "TaskMgr" and check its value.
