Hi there I'm trying to cut down on my expenses though I'm a little over my limit right now of $800. Can you edit this list or maybe give me a whole new build for $800 including a 24inch monitor?
Here's my current list for the future build. I had a BluRay drive that cost $50 in there earlier. So if you go under $800 with your build I might put a BD instead of a DVD.
GPU : GTX 465 : $280
PSU and Case : 500W
PSU with case: $70
CPU : AMD Phenom II X4 965 179.99
HDD : WD 500GB Caviar Blue : $55
RAM : 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 $105.99*
DVD Drive : ASUS Black 18X DVD-ROM SATA : $17
Motherboard : GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3 AM3 $99
OS : Win 7 Home Premium Builder's 64 bit: $100
Monitor : Asus 23.6" : $200

Same price, and I trust Nvidia more.
Seriously, I used to think the way you did but having favourite brands is fucking retarded. Go with the BEST product for the BEST price. Don't base it on brand. Well, consider the brand, but don't base your decision just on brand.

Look how much worse the 465 is

Wait. There are two GTX 465s in that comparison list. The other one is far ahead of the card you put on.

The "better" GTX 465 is actually two in Crossfire. Listen to Ocelot.
The one I have for that price is an EVGA, and I heard that it was the most trusted GPU brand. I just don't want to spend so much money on something to have it fuck up withing a year.
what it wont fuck up get out of here

You surely mean SLI, right?

Just get the 5850. The chance of it fucking up are about as big as the chance of the 465 fucking up.
I hate hardware fanboys.. OS fanboys can I understand somewhat, but hardware..
OK I get the point. I posted a 500W PSU. Will it run the GPU that you have posted or not?

Brand? If it is good, it might run it. If not, get a better brand with around 550 watts or so.
