So instead of running around like headless chickens shotgunning folks to death you can drive around on a dirtbike like a headless chicken shotgunning folks to death? Yes plz.
Being exposed in vehicles, and thusly, getting murdered by small arms as you're a giant bullet magnet, has always been an issue with Battlefield as a series. Dirtbikes are all fine and dandy, but its enjoyability is going to be severely hampered when you're just getting dropped by a single magazine of an M16 if you try and go anywhere

Dirt bikes seem a bit "clownish" in a battlefield, but it also sounds fun, which is better.

Another nice Battlefield related tidbit: DICE is looking for a Master Thesis student to add VR tech to the Frostbite engine. Most notably, Oculus Rift support.
