So I bought a new PSU, mobo and this last week (PSU was from novatech too), and the ATI card came in a motherboard box that was turned inside-out:

which was rather bizarre.
Anyway, so far I've had these problems with it (old card was an nVidia 8600GT, never had these issues):
-Quake 4 crashes when I go through a certain door about a minute into the game
-Q4/most games are slightly offset from the screen (right/down)
-Trackmania's window won't close after quitting the game, I have to end the process
-Windows all get all shifted around after exiting some games, especially those on my second screen
-Brightness doesn't always return to normal after quitting games
-Specular doesn't work in COD4 (can't find anything about this happening to anyone else)
-COD:WAW loads, goes into fullscreen, then crashes
I've definitely got the latest drivers for it. Is this just what I'm going to have to put up with after switching to ATI?
it hates you

I saw i Didn't notice "This" Was a hyperlink in the original post....
Anyway, I seriously would return that shit.... Even if it worked perfectly and it came in an inside out box for a different product, I would return it.
ok what, I was going to return the card but I put my 8600GT in again and all the same problems/crashes are there, minus the screen offsets.
This is bizarre, it must be caused by something independant of the ATI/nVidia drivers.
Try a Windows reformat if it isn't too much of a PITA.
I did a full reinstall (XP) when I got the stuff
